So I've come to the realization that my left foot is a D and my right is an E width. this is not good considering that I have 3 pairs of shell in a 10.5 D on the barrie already. my right foot has always rubbed a bit at the little toe, but I figured it'd go away when I broke the shoes in. that hasn't happened. the left foot feels perfect, which is why I thought i was a 10.5 D on the barrie

so I guess i'm kind of screwed considering I have 3 pairs of shell that don't really fit right frown.gif

While I am pleased with the color and fit of my recently-purchased cigar captoe boots, there is an annoying problem with them. Within minutes of me putting them on, the tongue on both boots slips to the outside of my foot. I have a bunch of Alden boots and have never had this problem. Anyone else have it and if so, what did you do about it?

i myself have not encountered this problem yet... a buddy of mine had a similar situation and had the tongue sewed at the lower part where it meets the laces, his tongue no longer shifts. this was on pair of officer indy's

I had this problem with the left boot. I took it to my cobbler and they sewed one side of the tongue to where the laces are. Worked fine.

Right on about the socks. The pants are Epaulet canvas chino's.

i have this exact same problem. My left foot is an E while the right is a D. I can take either a 12 or 11.5 in the plaza last. If I go with the 12, my left foot will fit perfectly, while the right foot will be too small for the boot. If I go with a 11.5, the left is too tight but the right fits perfectly. While its not an ideal fit, its really not that big a deal either - shoes still fit. I guess the other option would be to go bespoke or mto. scb, I hope you find solace in the fact that you are not alone - many others have fucked up feet
