i have a pair of medallion captoe's also in a 9.5 but im not sure the last they are on. i want to say they are on the Aberdeen if that helps.

If the Barrie fits properly, I would say 10E in Leydon last. If it's a little wide, 10D.

.

I wear a 10.5D in the Leydon and a 10D in the Barrie which is generally too loose in the heel for me. I haven't tried a 10C Barrie, mainly because I haven't seen any to try. If your 9.5 Barrie has an inch or so extra in length then maybe you could wear a Leydon in the same size.

Noob question: Do you guys use the Mac method for calfskin too or just for shell cordovan?

Tom, the new website looks much better. One question though: are we still going to have to comment each time for size info? A drop down menu that lists what sizes are available would be awesome.

New Site looks good Tom. Will you still be posting pre-orders on it like before? Looking forward to seeing what can be ordered next.

Go with color 8. If you like them dark, you can keep them dark through use of color 8 or black wax. On the other hand, if you like color 8's aging properties, you can let them age as well.

Thanks. Honestly, the comment feature is the worst way to ask for sizes. The best way is to call us. There is so much time between answering comments and emails that shoes tend to get sold during communication.

Sorry, as easy as e-commerce would make things, it's not in my game plan for various reasons.

Thanks. If/when I start preorders again, I will definitely post them up on the site. I'm a little hesitant to start again because Alden is taking anywhere from 8-16+ months at the moment and it's not easy for us to explain that to some customers.

Very cool. I've been leaning towards the 8s. Thanks, Enigma.

The shoemaking is still taking 4 months, it's just the amount of orders is so ridiculously large it's taking extremely long just to get shoes into production.
