I have never really been interested in a tasseled loafer but Mac makes it harder and harder to live without one. Looks great!

I have those and love them. When I was home last weekend (in Houston for a few months) I looked at them in the closet and thought "sure would like to wear them but 100 F is just too bloody hot to do so". I did just receive these though

Sizing question for you Indy owners:

I know the general consensus is to size down a half size in length from your normal Alden dress shoe size for the Indy, but did any of you go down a width as well?

I'm kind of in-between sizes--10.5C/11C for the Aberdeen/Hampton lasts. Tried a 10C Indy but a little wide and a little short. Tried a 10.5C Indy and length was perfect (a little extra length in the toe box, which is what I want), but the width was a little big. I could probably make it work with an extra, extra thick sock, but am left wondering if a 10.5B would perfect. The end result there, of course, means that, assuming I call myself an 11C, I sized down a half size in length, but also width (C to B).

What makes this weirder is that I am definitely an 11C in the Van last. I have a medium high arch so the 10.5C kills the top of my foot where the strap is, and the toe box is cramped. So I had to go with an 11C there.

Hopefully you guys have some input but it seems like the majority of you are D and E widths and can't relate to us with narrower feet. satisfied.gif

are you a size 11.5? I ask because I saw the exact same pairs in my irregulars email list.

Btw, like many of you, I havent received an email since June. Someone mentioned the emails come out every 3 months. so September? I actually stopped receiving emails in January. When I called theshoemart to ask why I hadnt received any for 6 months, they were dumbfounded. After they recited my email address and my sizes, they resent the email to my @gmail.com address, but still no luck. I then gave them my @yahoo.com address and by the time I got off the phone, I had 6 emails from them.

Yes, I am a 11.5 and it is the same boot. I guess this is the June list.
