Mike, those look great. I'm really looking forward to my AG wingtip boot from Leffot showing up!

I like this better than the previous soles. I like Danites, but I require a midsole on them for them to be bearable to me.

Thanks, Mike. I find that cuffs on my pants make me look somewhat short (I am already not a tall guy).

And thanks re: the 97502s!

These are outstanding looking... There seems to be one guy only on the form continuing to bash #8 as being too dark.... Hey brother, why rain on everyone's parade? Do you not know how to be kind? Or at least frame your statements a little nicer. You are wearing on me....
GREAT BOOTS SHOWN HERE!

Mike,

Great rain boot.  I've been eyeing these for some time.

How's the color of the grain leather in sunlight, to orange?

fantastic boot!

Looks like you took a break from christmas setup to take some shoe pics.

While not shell these boots garner the most compliments from the unknowing.

I'm not sure if I'm the one being referred to here. If so, I'm not trying to bash #8 at all, but having seen the last rounds of Cigar and #8 they are almost like new colors, and it seems like some of the things people value about those shades are impacted (patina, character of the shell, etc.).

My apologies if it sounds like criticism - the shoes being posted lately are absolutely stunning.

Thanks guys!

@JSO1 I am partially giving you all a hard time, I like cuffs, but I am over 6 foot and realize they aren't for everyone.

@gilby They are indeed great rain boots! To me they aren't too orangey.

M635Guy.. It's not you.. You've been a gentleman 110%. This person knows who he is.. very new to the forum...

Alas, I think my Alden Leffot tankers are too big. I will try them with some thicker socks, but it appears I should have gone with my normal barrie sizing of 11.5 instead of 12.

If anyone wants to trade an 11.5, let me know.
