I can't leave a link or phot because I'm on Southwest Flight 4006 as I'm typing this.

What kinda SICKO tells others about a boot deal while he's flying? :-)

What a sicko!
Where are your priorities?

You should have gotten off that flight, posted pictures, made an order, and rescheduled your flight for the next day.

Weirdo!

Thank you Mike!
I've never regretted having not purchased a pair of shoes until just now. Very well done.

Thanks and sorry guys! :-)

1/2 the lights we pull from last year don't work. And, 1/3 of the new ones we buy this year won't work either. So...keep your receipts!

Oh, nice boots:fonz:

I'm going to have to get some Ironside Indys next go round. So good.

If my Leffot Tankers weren't on the way I'd go for those BB boots again. They are TB from what I remember. Actually got them last winter and returned for some reason. Now they tempt me again.

I've wanted to pick up an Snuff Indy boot, but these are very tempting at $200 less.

However, they are on a sole I don't really like - so I'm going to stay away.

BB excluded a bunch of Alden's from their sale. This is something they don't normally do. Maybe they are finally starting to listen to Alden.

I have the BB boots from last year's after Christmas sale. Really enjoying them so far. But I'm not 100% sure they're trubalance. They don't really fit like my Barrie or Trubalance lasted boots. I've convinced myself they're on the military last (379X last) due to the somewhat bulbous toe.

Anyone have experience with these?

Sloat Plain Toe Natural CXL

Think this will be the next boot I get.

I'm usually a little shy sharing my photos, but this activated me smile.gif
Here is a pic of my very first Aldens. I got them at an European dealer. And they got me hooked on Alden 13+ years ago...

Edit: The sun appeared, so here is a better, additional picture:

Hope you become a little less shy going forward. That is an amazing shoe and I personally enjoy hearing from Alden veterans. Thanks for sharing.
