Does anyone have any suggestions on stopping blisters? Not all the time, but often enough, my inner right heel will get a blister. I've tried different socks, put in one of those gel heel inserts (which mostly helps), tied laces tighter/looser, but it still happens. I'd wear the boots more for longer periods if I wasn't afraid of getting stuck in the mountains with a massive blister. Doesn't happen with a single other pair of shoes/boots I own.
What is the fit like overall? Perhaps you need a different size? I've walked 10 miles in mine (in a day I mean) with no blisters at all.

this is precisely the issue. I've reached out to them multiple times regarding a few color 8 models and it's always the same elitist attitude. Not necessarily rude, but a tone indicating that I needn't get my hopes up because their makeups are too exclusive for me. It's not as if exclusive makeups are all I seek and positive interactions would definitely have driven me there for stock models. Because this is discussed repeatedly and people always come to defend them, I've given them multiple chances. A shame, because I feel so incomplete without their plaza semi brogue in my life.

have you inquired with anyone else about putting together an order? I'd imagine in #8 it wouldn't be too difficult for maybe the NY shop. I'd be down for a pair for sure.

I would say the overall fit is fine. I sized down a half size when I initially bought them. Tried on my normal size, a half size smaller, and full size smaller. The half size felt best. No problems with my left foot.

I got a PM suggesting taping my heels which is something I do when I go on long hikes. That's probably what I'll start doing when I know I'll be wearing the boots all day.

I would be 100% in for a Plaza semi-brogue in #8. Might be able to convince Yenni at Brick & Mortar to run it.

Dangit. That's right. I went with dangit. Those are beauts. Congrats to all who picked one up. Alas, my hobbit feet kill me. No 10.5E or 10EE.

Happy thanksgiving gents. I hope you all enjoy a great holiday and a long weekend.

As an aside isn't Adam at AoC doing something similar for a March-ish delivery?

These have lightened to a perfect colour for me now. At first, they were very dark and full of bloom.
