The color is incredible - the richest Ravello I have ever seen or owned. It blows my other two Ravello LWBs out of the water in terms of richness (a 97504 x Leffot from 2011 and a 97502 x SF from 2010). The last picture in this set is compared with my 97504s (2012 production). My 97502s are currently at Aram's, getting some flexwelt soles, but I will take a family portrait once they are back.

Although I love the antique edge of the 97504, I have to say that the darker edge and welt on the 9750 is very sleek and classy. Super happy with these.

Great Odin's Raven!

I love Ravello with a dark edge. Well played JSO, well played.

New to me, Alden x JCrew Saddle Shoe in Snuff Suede and Color 8 Shell Cordovan....

http://aldenofsandiego.com/alden-x-jcrew-snuff-and-color-8-saddle-shoe/

Now do I file this under Color 8 Shell Cordovan or Other Materials on my "My Collection" section? Initial thought is that they go right below the Blackbird Saddles on my Color 8 page...

Your cigar LHS are beautiful, lovely shade.
I've been telling myself I don't need an Alden loafer, you've changed my mind.

Dear Style Forum, I am looking to buy a pair of Alden LHS loafers but can't seem to find the right size. I typically wear 10.5D in Allen Edmonds dress shoes. I tried on the LHS loafers in a size 10D, and the width on the balls of my feet were perfect, but the heel was slightly too wide. What would be the proper size given that I have normal width on the balls of my feet and narrow heels? Would anyone recommend heel liners/pads? Would those work? Thanks!
