Pretty hilarious to read thru this thread's history... as recently as 3 years ago how easily attainable many shell/other makeups were compared to now. Cigar and Ravello seemed to be not difficult at all to come by, Whiskey a little harder, Color 2/4 definitely still hard but out there.

color 2 and 4 were never attainable unless you were a super VIP at some retailer.

said the same earlier, but these rare shell colors seem no harder (or maybe easier) to get than they used to be, but much much harder if you're committed only to Alden. just this week there was a GMTO with Rider Boot with #4, whiskey, mahogany, etc

+1. Definitely harder to get rare shell from Alden, but it's by no means impossible to get if you are willing to look to Rider, Bonafe, Carmina, Vass, etc.
