Holy crap. That is color 8 in all its glory. PTB is a wonderful way to showcase king shell. TB & commando works so well on that makeup. Adam is a genius.

This also leads me to a question. I have the same shoe without eyelets in a LWB. I would like to have eyelets added but would prefer the same color as the boots. Has anyone had this type of customization done where it didn't involve brass eyelets? Unfortunately Sublime can only do brass. Thanks.

I have those same shoes on order with Yenni.  Looking forward to them...

C'mon man. Put it in your sig. We're close to the same size and I while I love the SF forum, I feel the exact opposite about B&S.
Seriously Chipshot, there are no legs that would look bad in those shoes. No worries my-man, you are to LHS's what Mike is to LWB's.
Without a doubt, my next non-boot purchase. IMO, there isn't a better bal than this. Well done Prez.

Shawn took good care of you! Those are a fantastic model!!!

Thanks Mike. Shoddy work on eyelets in the past removes BNelson as an option for me but Aram at Ahonshoes is as good as it gets. I didn't realize he did eyelets so I will definitely check with him. I hear Randy the Cobbler may be an option as well. Always appreciate your insights, postings, and willingness to help. Keep up on the good work on Alden of SD as well. One of my more frequented sites.

Aram and I spoke about eyelet changeouts the other night when dropping some stuff off. It was either $45 or $85 for 20 eyelets (brass in particular). I'll ask again when I pick my stuff back up next week.

I don't have that issue.

I think my high instep and wide foot contribute. In order to get into the boot, it has to be a certain size, then there are only 3 eyelets to tighten them back up. I have a weird foot.

I don't own any chukkas for the same reason. I also love the look of chukkas and might try a chukka with at least three eyelets or more. But then that changes the look as well.

I am considering this boot from Leffot. Would like your thoughts... Would this be a good choice as a second boot along with the JCrew PCT?

The Alden Tanker, also known as the NST boot, is an incredibly versatile and durable shoe. With commando soles and handsewn split toe, it is both aesthetically pleasing and highly practical. The oiled chamois leather needs no maintenance and will keep you dry through the wettest months. Throw in the commando soles and you have the ideal winter boot.

Features: Barrie Last, Tobacco Chamois, Commando Soles

Ravello WT boots x TSM. Maiden voyage. Trying the Mac breakin method and the pencil trick to set the creases. I've had them for months only now have brought myself to wear them
