Also, as a heads up, I've put up a pair of new cigar cap toe bluchers up in B&S if anyone from the thread is interested. I ended up deciding that I can wear boots to my office, and so have been wearing my cigar cap toe boots instead. I just haven't found myself reaching for the shoes when I have the boots. Oh well.

well worn in Ultimate Indy's

one question: the speedhooks (particularly on the left boot) nearly touch each other when I lace them up. does this indicate any kind of fit problem, or just that the CXL around my ankle has become very flexible?

I am having the same.. I think it's related to CXL stretching. I can lace up my 403s way tighter than before.

No, first 2 films were mainly John Lobb and Churches. C&J only happened on Skyfall.

Anyways let's get back to Aldens!

Same here, with my Ultimate Indys and it's due to my skinny ankles smile.gif No cure there, LOL!

I am seeing this becoming addictive already.

*note: Doesn't necessarily have to both be boots, but I want at least one more out and maybe a shoe.

How about the Chukkas? They are one of my favorites and you don't see them too often:

Aria about a year and a half ago.

agreed - I buy shoes with tough leather (cxl, shell) specifically so I don't have to worry about wearing them in bad elements. the "cheapest" shoes I own are AE shell. that's not a brag, I'm just ok wearing shoes agnostic of elements. that's not to say I wear Lindrick boots to music festivals, but that's bc I'm wearing flip flops and not leather dress shoes

in Vegas specifically that probably means my Ultimate Indy's. or AE Kenwood loafers. just depends on season smile.gif

I just beat the hell out of #8 and it's very easy to make it look great again... And Black Shell ... Bomb proof!
