Recently there was a brief discussion of a workhorse boot. It immediately made me think of my Epaulet Ironside Indys.

These things are ridiculous! In the relatively short time I've had them, they've been through a 2 day Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Standing grappling seminar (which thoughtfully was held outdoors in a gravel pit), two seperate weekends resulting in 56.5 miles on the Appalachian Trail, camping a different weekend, visited the Atlantic Ocean, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, mowed my lawn 20+ times, cut an entire winter's worth of wood and are begrudgingly preparing to leaf blow the yard for the first time this fall...yet all it takes is a quick brushing and they look almost as good as new.

Right now they're on their 4th wearing since Friday. They don't get to sit for long.

I'm exhausted reading that, let alone partaking in any of it

From the getting place.

Most of the mainline shops will add an EE width to the next run for you.

Frankly, an EE width Aberdeen may be the best fitting shoe of all time for me.

Color2 Penny Loafer.

Decided not to buy, though it is ultra rare.....

what was it going for?

Tassels 8th Anniversary Special Edition.

Color2 Shell Cordovan, unlined, Van last, D width. It just didn't work on my feet.

Price is about USD$1300, which is another factor to pass them.....

aww thats thats too bad thanks for sharing though. is the color even? one looks darker than the other may just be lighting.

I have a tough time getting the van last to work for me. i almost have to size up to make it work

There's no place like home...

The color is even. And it turns out darker than those images of color2 LWB and Carmina's ruby.

I would say the color is similar to color8 with red tone under strong sunlight.
