Truflare is supposedly for flat feet? I'm curious to know was well but outside of Unipair never seen it stocked

Modified is like Barrie with narrower waist / heel

I'm an 8.5D on the Barrie as well. Never tried Modified but I have a pair of V-Tips on Truflare in 9D. They were purchased from Tassels in Hong Kong. The 9D fits slightly big but I'm not sure I could have gone with 8.5. The co-owner of Tassels fitted me and he also said people typically went TTS on the Truflare last.

That's a great collection!

On a separate note, shouldn't shoe trees provide enough tension to flatten the creases (or folds) while the trees are in?

These Hanig boots are nice. Similar to models offered elsewhere, but here with a straight tip rather than perforated.

I think it depends on your definition of business casual. For some people that's trousers and a jacket with dress shoes. For others, chinos are acceptable. If you're wearing fine wool trousers, probably not. With everything else, it's probably fine.

Thanks! For me, it's dress trousers (worsted, flannel, with an occasional chino, but not too often) with sport coats. Sounds like it wouldn't quite be right but still a fantastic casual Indy.

Snuff Suede LWBs from AoSD mwink[1].gif

Beautiful day for football in Ann Arbor yesterday, unfortunately the evening turned disastrous for the Wolverines. (Lucky win for State fans though)

Tough way to lose, my condolences. Go Blue, go snuff.

LS Ultimate Jumper in brown CXL. They've since modified this design (and the Ultimate Indy) to include a commando sole. IMO, it makes a great design even more practical.

While not the prettiest last, Trubalance is so comfortable for me. Plenty of toebox room and a snug heel.

The 1339 is a great and classic Alden. That isn't much to worry about especially given its location. Just brush and buff them and maybe use a little #8 paste wax to fill in any gaps...

Took the wife on a little day trip to the little Danish town of Solvang, CA. Took a tour of the old California mission there and rocked my Whiskey LHSes around town. I hated the lighting in my hotel there, so here are some more pics beyond the one that I posted onto IG...

Thank you sir - they came out of the box looking a little dry, but I spent some time yesterday going over them with a first pass of Saphir Renovateur and then several coats of their Pommadier cream wax.  Now they look great - looking forward to years with these!

It is incredible to me how a certain leather can transform a shoe.  This is a terrific example of that, and a stunning shoe in general...

How about a little Ravello NST goodness???
