Very cool looking Indy Boots BK, also neat jeans.

Navy CXL WT boots x B&M today. Somewhat more casual boots for a Friday. They still dress up pretty well, though.

Those are a really cool model. Enjoy them today!

Thanks, Mike. Are you having Yenni make you one in your size for the next run?

Natural Chromexcel OR Reverse Tobacco Chamois
Dark metal eyelets/speedhooks
Storm welt
Natural/antique edge
Commando Sole
Barrie Last

Basically the exact boot Yenni has right now at B&M only on Barrie. While she may have chosen TruBalance over Barrie (B&M seems to be doing a lot of TruBalance makeups coming up), I am assuming another retailer is/has done the same makeup on Barrie and hence B&M not offering it. But who? Closest I have seen are Unionmade's offerings, but theirs are not on commando, which would suit this boot perfectly.

So what gives, seems like this would be a perfect casual boot for many of us... wonder if there's enough interest if we can get a retailer on board to facilitate...

This leffot make up is close to what you want, Tobacco Chamois, not reverse though. And I think they look super bad ass!!

Yes.

Alden should automatically put a "Made expressly for mdubs" stamp on shoe orders that come in in 10B (or whatever size you are).

A lovely model indeed don! Looking dapper as always.
Congrats on picking these up from someone. Figured that these were an older run. The Grant is a very nice medium last and is just superb with the Cap Toe Boot pattern. I am glad you found a good fit as it is a lesser known last and several vendors avoid it due to the typical lack of customer knowledge of it.
JD, glad to see you enjoying your modified Indy boots today!
Looking good NAMOR in your banana boot. They do indeed have one of the nicest heel counter pattern Alden makes. The Ravello PT boot I shortly had had the same heel details and it was gorgeous. It also had the bellow tongue and unlinedness. I hope you are able to make em work.
Sorry to hear you had a long week, but hope your Whiskey at least gave you a momentary smile and reason to be thankful.
Looking good DV in your Bloom free WT Boots. I am more curious about your Cigars bloom situ. Whiskey to date has been pretty bloom tolerant.
Thank you uncle Mac. They are a great and commonly overlooked model here. A terrific suit shoe.
Congrats on your first Alden. Please avoid this thread if you don't want them to reproduce. They look very nice. They shouldn't need too much product on them. You may want to consider getting a deer bone. And just work on brushing and buffing. :-)
Very nice. Madison is a great shop and will be my second store spotlight. I wanted to get their band, but just couldn't. Rios for some absurd reason doesn't seem to carry a Color 8 band. At least in 22mm. They just have Black, Mocha, Cognac and maybe Natural (don't recall now). I am currently planning to get a Black and Mocha strap as well to be able to match my footwear more accurately. I think the Mocha will pass the 3 foot rule for Color 8 and Cigar and Cognac will pass it for Ravello and Whiskey. :-)

Have a good one,
Mike

This is the perfect response coming from you, Mike!

Even better, "Made expressly for Alden of San Diego".

Then people will REALLY think that Mike is a retailer.

10.5B Barrie... ;-)

But no, don't need any help in that department... :-) I only got one inquiry yesterday...

While I like that makeup, natty cxl or reverse chamois is what I really want. Thanks for the heads up though

Jeeesus, both are gorgeous. Well done. Trying to resist.

That's a bad ass Indy boot!!

didnt think I'd be spending any money today but that indy is too good

If I didn't have an MTO from another maker shipping in the next couple weeks, I'd be all over that Indy. Maybe I'll get lucky in a couple weeks and my size will still be hanging around. Priorities. Ugh.
