Those are great! I love the brass and natural edge. Makes them look so much more casual. Great boots.

Got them from a fellow member here - these are from the run that came in earlier this year. I'm like 10th on the DC wait list for these, lulz.

To my knowledge, Alden has not done another run of anything in Ravello since these and the Ravello NST at TheShoeMart. The date code on these indicates they were made in January of this year.

as promised the alden anatomica captoe boot. lovely details with the heel counter and double row of stitching. also features a half bellows tongue. might be the most comfortable boot ive tried on. the boot is unlined (except for captoe) and has an oiled flex outsole. unfortunately a little small. I sized down 1/2 from my actual size. would be best for barrie

True to size. They feel pretty similar to the way Barrie 1/2 size down feels, i.e., Grant 8.5 feels to me like Barrie 8. The heel and toe areas are different (Grant 8.5 has a narrower heel than Barrie 8, and the toebox on Grant is more tapered so it feels similar).

Those are gorgeous. Any photos of the interior lining (or lack thereof)? I'd also like to see the tongue bellow.

Commando Sole
Barrie Last

Basically the exact boot Yenni has right now at B&M only on Barrie. While she may have chosen TruBalance over Barrie (B&M seems to be doing a lot of TruBalance makeups coming up), I am assuming another retailer is/has done the same makeup on Barrie and hence B&M not offering it. But who? Closest I have seen are Unionmade's offerings, but theirs are not on commando, which would suit this boot perfectly.

So what gives, seems like this would be a perfect casual boot for many of us... wonder if there's enough interest if we can get a retailer on board to facilitate...

I looked for something similar for months before settling for the Leffot Tanker. Natural cxl may still persuade me to join.

First pair of aldens! Alden x JCrew self modified antiqued edge, these are my new favourite pair. Added some viberg black flat waxed laces to seal the deal, plus a half sole and toe taps by my local cobbler. Anyone have any idea if these can be easily modified into brass eyelets? My local Sydney cobbler said they would turn out poorly because the speedhook rivets are hidden by a strip of leather

Heres some pics, i cant tell if they need some more reno or if they are just patina'd in the rolls
