I thought of checking in first to avoid sizing/fit surprises...
I wear 6.5D Barrie in boots with great fit and comfy. It should be the same size for LWB Color 8, right? Nothing to factor in for anything else like heel slippage or toe box stretching?
Thanks.

Is there a trick im missing to keeping the tongues on my jcrew x alden #8 boots from sliding outwards? How would a cobbler fix this exactly? (i'd like to know so i can explain what i want exactly to them if its necessary, sydney is not a shoe conscious city....)

@karanimal I don't think so. I haven't found a way to prevent mine from doing that, but I have heard of others on SF having a cobbler stitch one side of the tongue down so it doesn't slide (similar to balmorals)

Had Sublime Goods do some more work - this time on some Indys.

Color 8 got brass eyes
Black got brass eyes and light edges.

Picked up 8.5E (typically 8.5D Barrie/Van, 9D Grant).  First timer on Aberdeen, so we'll see how well these fit.

Yes, I think just about everyone takes their same size no matter if they're boots versus shoes.

You gotta call em. They don't respond to emails despite giving it out as a means of contact on social media.

One of the most beautiful boots around.

Ordered a pair of shell color 8 chukkas from the Shoe Mart's stock of factory seconds. Something I could have never afforded at full price, but couldn't pass up when an 8E came through for a deal. Anybody have any stories about the seconds showing up in amazing or terrible shape? No idea what to expect, but figured worth a try at the price.
