I am just debating on ordering either PTB or Chukka's in color 8 shell.  Not sure which looks better both with jeans and slacks.  Also how does the shell look after its aged?  I would love to see some pics.  Ideally I wanted a Ravello shade, but its too difficult for me to locate.

is it normal for the unlined suede chukka to feel like its pressing down on my big toe?

This is just a solid outfit.  Details on the shirt and pants?  That color 8 looks like it would be sick in direct sunlight too!

Thank you! Sweater and pants are actually from J.Crew. Unfortunately the Bowery donegal trousers are from last year though

There was an order from May or June of 2014 (paid in full) for shell wingtop boots. Those finally came in today.

So I decided to stick with the jcrew pct and send back the wingtips. Maybe down the line I'll get the wingtips - thanks to those of you who pointed out that the pct from j crew is limited edition whereas the wt can be had down the road.
Now, based on the pics below, do the folds appear to be in the right place (size wise)?

Also is it normal that the leather is making creaking noises as I move in the them, particularly the shaft? Is that because they are stiff, or does this mean they are indeed too small?
