so the fransboone parajumper will no long available?

Unfortunately that is my understanding of the situation as it stands. I asked someone to reach out to the factory before this was put out, but haven't heard anything back yet. If they already have a confirmed order, it may go through. We will see. They may also lift this, I don't know.

I am with you on White Suede. I would be too worried and I am pretty sure that I can't pull it off.

So annoying. That takes the hope of MANY a cool makeup out of the running ever again (and I mean direct from the factory). Why they want to so badly control aesthetic while still letting retailers create makeups is beyond me.

I had my Indys 405 for about a year (they're my first GYW purchase) and would only occasionally brush them and maybe a bit Jason Markk to clean the welt.

I was thinking of some Lexol or Alden Fine Boot cream. Will the Alden Dark Brown one color them? Is this thing any good?

If they just need conditioning, Lexol or Bick 4 don't darken much at all IME.

Yeah, I am pretty sure our Brass friends will again be reacquainted with their favorite cobbler.

FB parajumpers are confirmed. I'm getting a pair through my German relative.

Thank you for the kind words.
Paranoid? Yes, will keep these clean today.
Pull it off? Hardly, I just wear them. They do get more attention and comments than other footwear.

Not sure about CT, but a lot of us here use Randy the Cobbler who is out in AZ (http://randythecobbler.com/) - the brass eyelets on my snuff LWBs were by him

He's a good dude and does nice work, but you'll have to drop him an email for price quote & timeline.  I think someone here mentioned another cobbler out in CA that they had work done with good results as well.

Do any of the cobblers used by the members of this forum can do Alden's commando mini lug sole or something very similar. I like the nice grip and the leather sole look from the side for a dressier look.

If any of you can post a picture even better....

best place to kop the 975?

color 8 LWB in size 8D. As long as returns/exchanges are easy to process.

TSM told me it won't be in stock for another 12 weeks.

Hard to beat JCrew's return policy, I believe it's 60 days if bought online. You'll almost surely pay tax and shipping though, won't have that with Alden SF.
