Was probably just a display shoe - they might not even have its mate.

I know they regularly order the whiskey SW bal and have a few of those in stock, but the sizing was very limited last time I asked about it.

In my opinion they scream punk rock scene, 1980s London, Dr. martens Ass - Kickers. And that is exactly the look I was drawn to since they were introduced. So while Rydan and his gang of merry men are out there kicking shit with there new and improved Pitt Boot, I'm gonna be kicking ass with mine.

The RydanFan boot is more military, officer vibe with the, no pun intended, commando sole. I was going for more of a Fight the Power, question authority look. Not to mention the crepe is, IMO, slightly more comfortable than the commando sole.

But I'm glad you got in on them:)

Really happy I got in on these.

Love Alden crepe soles.... the leather toe tip and all, and esp. love how they look as they break-in (look like burnt tire rubber with a slight whitish haze, so cool). And the feel, like tennis shoes. Love them more with a chunky reverse welt.

I'm somewhat influenced by the Roy boot which at one time seemed to be the hotness around these parts. Not sure what happened in the ensuing years, but the crepe seems to get much hate.

If I had a misgiving it would be the speed hooks, def plus and minuses there.

These PTBs came in from our fellow contributor Shawn in essentially mint condition. He tells me he wore them 5x. More like one time when he tried them on before he topyd them. Anyway, if he's selling, rest assured he's a standup guy. Thanks!

Pants are Ep walts. Will try to post whiskey comparison pics later.

They look good on You Doc, but with those slacks that no surprise. A seriously killer combination. I appreciate the words my friend, it was really nice doing business with you. I'm glad they found a good home.

Always nice when a carrier drops off a green box. My most recent eBay pic (NIB). No flaws or indication of seconds. Given my recent love of all things Aldn suede, I was very happy to nab these.....

I assumed Barrie and Van were similar in size but these are definitely snug. They suede is so soft they still feel great, though they key will be how they feel after 8 hours of constant wear.

Here's a shot next to my LWB's. Same size but the LWB's even look much bigger.

I agreed with all of this. The hooks for me are neither bad not good. I like all eyes, but that being said I never really use the hooks. I end up wrapping the laces at the top.

I dig the Roy boots too. And agree the crepe looks cool and is so comfortable. I cannot wait to rock these beauts!

I go neutral because I don't want to alter the patina and aging of the Ravello. Don't want to cover that goodness up.

Although maybe you meant brand. I like Saphir Cordovan Creme shoe polish in neutral.

I have a sizing question:

I have 10.5 unlined chukkas on the Leydon that fit perfectly. I also bought some 10D chukkas and ptb. I ordered a 9.5D PTB and it fits well too. My left is slightly bigger than my right. Both 9.5D and 10D Barrie's fit me well. I have a little more space in the 10D and they are comfortable. Any thoughts? I'd prefer to not size down in width (say 10C). im lost haha. Sorry I'm new to this whole thing and I'm trying to not invest too much into wrong sizes.

Congrats, I love the snuff LHS.

I have the unlined tan suede LHS and though they were very snug compared to my barrie last shoe or even my lined LHS they formed to a very comfortable fit after a few wearings.

I've had this problem too. When I got started they sold me 11.5 Indy boot. Turns out I'm 11E chukka and 10.5D Barrie/Trubalance. Don't get the shoes that are comfortable now because they will stretch and be too large.

Thanks for your input ! I just find it strange going down a full size!
Edit I'm a pretty true 10.5D brannock and athletic shoe

Leffot will be calling folks on the #8 Naval, Tan suede LWB, and the Natural CXL Indy pre-orders from 6 or so months ago (from their IG).

I'm in a similar situation. I'm a 12D left foot and 11.5E right foot in Nikes and New Balance.

But I'm a 10.5E in Barrie/Trubalance. I think, for me, it's an arch length / relatively short toe thing. So I go down a full size more or less.
