These are still my favorite black shell boot that I can't seem to get anyone to build. The ryden and walter boots are nice, but these are the original black shell with antique soles.

Yenni said maybe next winter she may consider running something similar.

This boot is singular. Maybe one of the few black boots I'd consider. Thanks for sharing this item from the recent archives. Cheers.

I agree, I have a pair of Alden NST walkers with the crepe sole and I am not a big fan. These boots would be awesome in a commando or leather sole.

Still jealous of the guys who got in on the Ryden Boot. Couldn't check out fast enough on that one.

I love the Walter boot, it might be hard for me to pass on the preorder.

I'm definitely hopping on the Walter boot! It's caught my eye for some time now. Such a classic punk rock vibe to it. My inner 90s Doc Marten wearing self can no longer resist them;)

P.s. The Black shell Pitt is The plain toe, but it is but a legend at this point. Walter is real:)

Good question.

In short, over the last 3 yrs I have lost around 85 lbs.

Initially, my foot shrank in length and girth from an 11EEE to a 10E...

Then, last year, as part of my weekly regimen, I started trail running about 10 miles a week.

My foot gained almost 2 more E's worth of MUSCLE girth.

I am now a solid 10.5E and/or 10EE.

In closing, the #8 WT boots on commando were Barrie 9.5E and too tight...so, I sold them off...

I think if enough of us let Yenni know how great the pitt boot is, she may run it for next year.

After being mildly concerned about sizing, since some folks seem to think it runs small, I can confirm that these do not feel any more snug than my Color #8 Wingtip Boots in the same size. That said, I do think that Barrie boots for some reason feel more snug than Barrie shoes in the same size. Shrug.
