Jay, welcome to the thread and best of luck! That's not a model that I track, so I sadly can't help you too much. Our Hawaiian friends are pretty good, suggest you give them a quick buzz and see if it's in their queue.

These look so good!  I was thinking of pulling the trigger on these on so many different occasions.  You wear them really well!

Hope everyone else gets theirs soon!

I refuse to spoiler the last picture, haha.  Congrats on your new acquisition!  Nice shoes AND boots.  They work well together and you definitely have coverage in Cigar!  What last are the SW bluchers on?

No worries, yeah, I figured you were busting me. But, that is their story. I agree, I did Reno them, but did a really light coat, but a like you, I try and be very careful with Whiskey as well, as it visually absorbs a lot more... :-)

Do you not recommend whisky color shell? Or is it hard to take care of?
Thanks Mike. I've been lurking this thread forever and figured I should finally get involved. I talked to leather soul and they don't have any plans but put me on the "dream list." That sounds like a long shot but we will see.

whiskey shell can be tricky to care care for because it will show marks on the light shell, and using products with pigments or certain solvents can cause stains or unintended darkening.

Well if I would of know this I would of not done Mto any recommendation how to take care of new whiskey shell. Other than basic brush & rub down, & using Alden leather defender.

Someone was asking about plaza last boots creasing patterns. Ime captoe creases are more pronounced than on the wingtip. As jhcam eluded to the wingtip pattern minimizes the creasing. My plaza wingtip boots shoe minimal crease but the color 8 is has these peculiar side creasing that are distinctly lighter. I'm alittle worried actually

I think that was me you're referring to NAMOR. Do you also have captoe color 8's with some creasing to show the difference?

@NAMOR

That is clearly signs of early onset arthritis in your metatarsals...

Are you sure? Where did you read about that? When I showed my doctor the photo he said I had cancer of the foot and that he would need to amputate my legs (he is also a size 12). Doctor is know for his lighthearted humor

All of my cordovan shoes have that exact same crease on the right side, but that's because I have a bunion in that spot.

Marvelous volley, sir.

Serious question: Can't the creasing be caused by any celastic toe cap? I thought almost all dress shoes/boots had these?

P.S. You may need to get checked for scrotal melanoma as well.

(did you really move away?)

I'll do crepe on another shoe or boot which is meant to go with a double sole

Agreed, this makes a lot of sense. The lug rubber sole looks chunky on the LHS loafer. The oiled flex sole is meant for the LHS loafer, especially the unlined version.
