At $485 (with shipping) price tag for seconds what would you do?

Absolutely keep if there's nothing major wrong with the upper. Unless your a minimalist and have an exact number of shoes you can have. Like mentioned, either add a topy or just use them and send in for sole swap later on.

Hey boys,

Thought I'd share some pix of my cigar LWBs that I just got from the DC store.  As everyone has been saying, they are darker but not as much as I was expecting.  Certainly keepers.

Thanks!  This is good to know.  Although my Aldens are 8 medium, my Brannock is 8.5 D.  So I think I'll go with the medium.

Black Friday. BB unlined shells. I recently ordered this same model in a lined version for winter and a more substantial sole.

So I Just got back from a month long honeymoon on Maui. I hadn't worn anything but slippah's (flip flops) in 5 weeks. I came home and tried on My TSM color 8 Indys that have been waiting here for a month. They are Perfect and now i understand why people don't want to take their shell on the maiden voyage. I understand and apologize for
Ever questioning anyone!

How did you find the sizing and fit on the BB unlined?  Did you go with your normal VAN size?

^ yep, I go with my normal Van last size. They fit slightly tighter than the lined version but the beautiful accommodating shell moves around and conforms to your feet. And Wha La, custom fitting loafers. BTW I wear most of my loafers with loafer socks as I live in the Sonora Desert.

Let's see those Mike! I reach for black shells more and more often these days. They seem fresh and new to me after all the 8's and rare shells. Great to see all the photo's, keep em coming boys.
