I would also like to offer one of my favorites that fit into that price range, Filson. I have one of their small duffles and I am able to fit a pair of boots and a pair of shoes, my toiletry bag, and two days clothing easily when packed properly. It's not too often that I have 2 pairs of footwear in my bag but it's good to know it can be done.

@tifosi had to go and ruin me with Frank Clegg now though so I am looking hard at one of his small duffles...

You're able to fit two pairs of shoes with clothes into the Filson small duffle?! You may need to show me your ways...

Thanks again guys - grabbed the small filson for $228 with shipping - The Luxire was going to be the choice but the savings were worth it for the Filson

It CAN be done... I have this bag (Filson Medium Travel bag) which measures similar to the small duffel and only use it for short work trips & road/weekend trips and can pack a similar amount (2 shoes, 1 toiletry bag, 2 days of clothes).  Pretty tight, but it can all fit.  The only complaint I have on this bag is that the bag when carried on my shoulder tends to turn - which is more of an annoyance.

It just so happens that I am off work today, doing laundry and need to pack for this weekend. Looks to me like you are in luck!

So here is a weekend's worth of clothes... 2 shirts, 2 pants, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of boxers, 2 pairs Aldens ( I forgot to get belts for the picture but there is plenty of room for them along with Ipad, phone charger, I've even squeezed a bottle of single malt in there)

First thing I do is ditch one pair of shoe trees and stuff boxers/socks into the shoes; I swap trees during the weekend. Cloth bag the footwear and put them in as the first layer, they will go in an...ahem...69 orientation.

Next the toiletry bag and pants...

Followed by shirts...

Now thanks to you, I am packed for the weekend already. I thank you and my wife thanks you.

There is still plenty of room and I could likely stuff a third days clothing in there.

Wow, that's impressive BL. Missed the SM. Whats your beverage of choice?

Funny, I have the same Filson bag and pack mine the exact same way with my Aldens, toiletries, and clothes. I guess I'm doing it right!

It was fun. I will usually take any excuse to sneak away from paperwork to do just about anything else, especially when it involves playing with my shoes...

Hmmm that's a tough one to answer outright, I have favorites for each of the "regions". There is a long list that I would like to try before buying blind so I feel like it's a very fluid list but...

My top three that are currently open in my cabinet right now are...

The Balvenie Portwood 21

Lagavulin 16

Aberlour A'bunadh
