Bureau can ship via Post Office so customs hit is much less likely. Also, the price difference probably isn't $68 since the antique edge color 8 LWB isn't a standard makeup. If I recall correctly, Leffot charged a premium over the standard 975 when they did their last pre-order for the antique edge color 8 LWB. Or at least that's what I told myself when I was trying to justify the purchase shog[1].gif

Been wanting to clean my reverse chamois Greenwich boots for a while and could never really find a solid answer. They just felt like they needed some love. A while back I finally just emailed Horween to see what they suggested and they mentioned just brushing them and conditioning them with neatsfoot oil. I finally got around to grabbing some oil and working on them.

Brushed them down with a suede brush fairly well before starting, I did not do anything to try and treat indigo stains as I figured they are not very visible and won't be at all after the oil.

I have to say I am blown away at how close this process seems to bring them back to the original NIB look. I can't wait to break them back in, it's like having a new pair of shoes.

Well every thing in leffot is expensive but you can get it cheaper than that. There are other store lot of factor goes in. Such as CC fee, depending upon were you live example Canada higher chances of import duties. Amount of money you are saving is not the worth headache. But if you have most of those things covered then yes you are correct. Plus British pounds are worth more 68$ was a estimate not exact.

There is. Search back a through the last month in this thread, there is one that a few guys have picked up from Banana Republic that matches really well. It's been mentioned a few times. I'm too sleepy to go back and try to find it right now. Maybe just search for Banana using the recency filter....

It goes on sale throughout the year too. I hope to pick one up during the next sale myself.

It arrived yesterday and as someone else mentioned it is really quite a good match in person. The quality isn't too bad either and it totally worth it if you are able to snag it on sale.

Snapped a couple pics and it's raining here today so was a great day to try it out with my Leffot Greenwich boots. Forgive me in advance for the crotch shot lol, just trying to show the 3 foot rule match.

That was me and the BR belt is decent for the price I grabbed it at. I was at Nordstrom a few weeks ago and they were clearing out the Allen Edmonds Wide Basic belt in Bitter Chocolate Suede for $45CAD so I decided to pick it up and see how it went with tobacco reverse chamois since I do not own any brown suede.

Turned out to be a great match and it is a much better quality belt, has much more suede nap, is thicker and sturdier overall yet still seems to have a slight bit of red undertone.

Side by side with the BR belt.

This is not helping to convince me that I don't need a Greenwich boot in my collection. Such a dynamite boot.

I have this in a boot and though i think mine is alpine grain...the boot is spectacular...which is the only thing stopping me from getting the shoe.

That is a Unionmade shot and I have seen them at JGilbert as well. Possibly Epaulet, too.
