How does the Grant last fit?
Should I go with my Brannock size?

More people will likely chime in, but Grant should be tried on first. Some go TTS, or in my case, I went down .5.

Grant is on the larger side of TTS...but not by much.

Its really actually longer than wider. IMO.

If its a boot you are considering, I would recommend TTS, as boots tend to be a little more casual, thus facilitating a little thicker sock.

Just my advice, take it for what it's worth.

Thanks.

Grant is true to size, and feels true to size. For me, it was a great fit.

A lot of people find the Grant last to be a "tweener", it almost as wide as the barrie last and slightly shorter than aberdeen/plaza. Going TTS is probably ok, but some people will go 0.5 size down. If you are going for a boot design, TTS is a pretty safe bet since people tend to wear thicker socks with boots, and some people (especially with high instep) find boots on the same last to fit slightly tighter.

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, but there's a pair of cigar LWB's in size 8.5D on eBay if anyone's interested:

Agreed. Great shade, popular size, and very reasonable BIN price. Have it in my watch list while I mull it over.

half size too big for me, but looks like a nice pair!  Considering that eBay eats up approx. 9-10%, it would be nice if the seller was a SF member where someone could strike a deal outside of eBay

JS,

Are these the kicks that were here on B&S that I linked to you a few days ago?

Just curious.

Thanks.

They are the same indeed! I didn't realize that you had linked them to me in my WTB thread, as I stumbled upon them myself around the same time! I actually didn't set up a subscription for replies to my WTB thread, which was foolish.
