Good produce too for if you're staying in a condo. Costco has good price on Mac nuts. I usually just stuff socks in my shoes when I pack them.

thanks man! you're right, all I ever where on maui are my olukai slippahs, sneakers, or some loafers. i thought i might where them one night when we are at a hotel. were staying in a condo most of the trip. little studio in kihei,  so i will def hit up the swap meet. my lady has been to the swap meet before to sell womens shirts she designs and makes. she spends a lot of time on maui. mahalo for all the advice.

My favorite may be 2011 cigar lwb

I'll start. I've only bought one pair of shoes from Adam, but it was a pleasure doing business with him. And the shade of the Ravello LWBs was pretty amazing too. (Not the best pants to pair them with, though...)

Welcome, Adam!

Welcome, Adam!

Those are beautiful. Ravello feels like unicorn of late. Hope we see some fresh Ravello some time this year.

I am in "Need" of some ravello.

On my pickup list there are several ravello models.

Carmina Cognac is so close...but I have trouble fitting their lasts.

Nice shade as well.

My AoC Cigar LWB from '14 are a brilliant shade as well. Adam seems to get the best shades!

Welcome Adam!!  It is great to have you on this thread.  I'm sporting a pair of Cigar LWBs today.  I bought these from you a little more than three years ago.

Adam,

It is awesome to see you here on StyleForum. I know that you are one of the few people who loves Alden more than myself and the rest of us here and we will (and already are) enjoying the photos that you have been sharing with us and the requisite knowledge of Alden and it's history that you bring to the table.

Hope all is well!

Gentlemen,

I was going to go back and do a mega quoting session, but have decided that I don't have that much time today... But you all have posted many fine and beautiful shoes over the past week and a half. I went on vacation to go visit one of my close friends and decided to include a break from ShoeForum, as my wife calls it, with my regular vacation. Many lucky and beautiful additions to your collections as well. Cheers!

Shoe trees obviously but I worry about the shape of them being ruined due to the packing. Recommendations please? And yes I will be visiting leather soul on Oahu.

+1 that or workout clothes.  Trees are too much to bring, unless if I was gone for a month or more.

Do they have the 11.5 or 12?
It was the 11.5D they had for which I was marked in their system. Since it's Grant, I need a 12.

Since it's Throwback Thursday, here's my first pair of Aldens. I didn't have my sizing nailed yet so they have moved on to bigger feet...

TSM NTLCXL WT boots

Edit to add: looking at them makes me think I may need to revisit a pair in my correct size...

Here's a slight Throwback Thursday... My most recent eBay purchase. These are color 8 NST in Aberdeen last (2210 model) and were made for Tom Austin NYC (printed on the insole) which closed in 2012(?)

They just need some new laces and smell like my grandpas closet but I'm pretty happy scoring them for a low price 👍
