Interesting. I called Leffot the other day to ask about the Color 8 LWB with antique and they said they were all spoken for. Guess not...

Wow.  I'm going to catch alot of crap for this comment, but I may actually prefer a Barrie cap toe's aesthetics to Grant.  I have a Barrie Color 8 Cap Toe Boot and a Grant Ravello Cap Toe Boot and other than the Grant last being better fitment and more comfortable by a long shot (and my favorite shade - Ravello), the Barrie IMO looks better in a Cap Toe design.  These are phenomenal!  Can't wait to start seeing some direct sunlight photos and first wears popping up!

You're dead to me

It's hard to beat Mama's Fish house in Maui.  We always eat there on our last day of the visit.

Steve

Hmmm, Mama's sounds like a good idea.
We haven't been there in years.

Nice boots. Glad you like them. Wear in good health.

Walked by AoM this afternoon and just kept my head down and kept walking. If I walked in it would have been all over (assuming nobody grabbed those 11's yet).

I'm impressed that you had the self control. I would not have been able to restrain myself.

A cobbler would able to antique an edge on a shoe, correct? Would anyone have a ballpark estimate of what this would cost?

Yes but it looks weird with the dark welt, which can also be replaced.

My Winn Perry boots are Barrie CT and I will agree with you that somehow that combination seems sleeker than my 2 Barrie shoes or my plain toe Barrie boots. That said, I still have a Grant CT as well, and 2 of the 3 Aldens I have on pre-order at the moment are also all Grant CT boots because they are so killer.
