Damn. My kid's size sold out in the first few minutes of the preorder. Waiting to see that pair on sale in Asia for $2k

Wish they had antique edges.  Would be an instakop

Is that Horween's new baby blue shell cordovan?

And woven, just in time for summer to bootie.  (No pun intended)

See and I thought their "baby blue" shell was blue dyed shell from young horses, but this makes more sense.:rotflmao:

Wow, was not expecting this kind of a response...

@breck81 let me know when you need them and I will ship you a pair gratis. But remember the proper order of operations... ;-)

@Bbombers85, Yes, they can be relasted on the special M-123 Last. However, it is recommended that you just take them to your local cobbler for a stretching... They exhibit similar properties to CXL and Suede in their ability to stretch with time.

@Akeem, the Mac Method is not only going to work on them, but encouraged, and should help getting off @Bbombers85 burger fat and "other baby accidents"....

I am sorry @docalden2013, but you know how it goes with "limited" production items, maybe when we get our next shipment in of exotic colored yarns you may be more fortunate.

@Don L, ask and you shall receive, I will work with my wife to get a "tan antique" and "mahogany antique" model going... That way you can instakop them.

@Watchman1 and @breck81, we are trying to work with Horween to get horse hair yarns. Might as well do something with the hairs besides making brushes, right?

Cheers all!

In all seriousness, if anyone actually wants a baby bootie to match their Aldens for some silly reason, let me know and I can talk to the director of yarn affairs at my house and will make it for someone at cost... I would need to find patterns though that mimic Alden designs... I think that she already has something close to a Chukka and a LHS already... But dang, a Tassel would be awesome... LoL... My wife loves to knit and I really don't need that many scarves and beanies living in San Diego... ;-)

Did you get a call or email?  Wondering if the LWBs came in as well.

Got an email a few min ago along with a paypal invoice for the balance.

Do you guys think it's worth it to have some Alden leather defender on hand? Thinking of adding it to my order but not 100% on if I will find it useful. Does it really help with water welts?

I've had good results with it. Since you'll be getting something shipped from Leffot, I'd use it as an opportunity to add it in. They actually have some nice products in their shop. I might pay them a visit next week.
