Enjoy your time and you may not want to tell her you are visiting Kathy on your honeymoon, maybe visiting Joe. Hah.

Enjoy your time sir!

I only fairly recently paid for mine, not sure it's even been sent in to Alden yet. Dylan may have an answer for us if he pops in here. I try not to bug as they will come in in due time.

Hah. Totally get you. I really like paying in full for shoes upfront now a days so I can just have the money off the books and not have to worry about when they drop. Of course that kind of sucks when they aren't even in production...

I keep a pinterest to keep track of my deposits. Just got hit with 75% of a Galway boot and have the plain toe black shell, a #8 naval, and a snuff suede wtb (and another EG boot). hoping to add the Leffot #8 NST tomorrow.

Needless to say, 2017 or 2018 works for me. smile.gif

all this randy the cobbler brass work has me wanting to adjust something over. anything to be honest.. but wait times are likely ridiculous by now.

might have to hit up this new NOVA cobbler that's sorted my flush caps to see what he thinks about changing eyelets. Im sure I have a pair around here that could stand to be brass'd out

my preorder list is currently small.. a couple EP models, a pair from dayton and a small makeup from neoc. I'm honestly getting burnt out on the time involved to grab preorders etc.

Check out Brian Truong - "Brian the Bootmaker" - in Los Angeles. He makes hand-made boots (Role Club Boots) and he is just starting to work on my Alden 403's for simple brass eyes and hooks. Quoting two weeks for the turnaround. They both do great work.

I would love Leffot's smooth tobacco chamois tanker books….I regret selling my smooth tobacco chamois Indy's and now TSM doesn't have them anymore, but geez: $620.  I'm almost at the point where it is shell cordovan or nothing for me, in regard to Alden (or factory seconds from TSM if they can be had)...

These Hallecks (older version with commando sole) just came back from Mr. Lin at Original Dr. Sole (http://www.drsole2011.com/dr-sole-originals.html). I originally just wanted to get the top 4 eyelets converted to hooks but he didn't have brown colored hooks so I figured I'd go full on brass. I'm very pleased with the results. For any of you in Asia, I highly recommend Mr. Lin. Once the commando soles wear out, these will head back out to him for some new soles as well...

He charged me $5/pair of eyelets. In total $90 (excluding shipping).
