I am making a move into mocha kid suede. Alden hq says it really does come from goats. I think it looks sharper than the regular stuff. Do have some C&J and EG calf suede.

Big for me, since I have about 30 pairs of shells. But I bought some tassel moccasins at Brooks and am hooked. NST's from NRO (fingers crossed) are coming. Would like some UPL's, PTB's, chukkas, and other models. Any suggestions for suppliers?

I thought the Mocha Kid Tassels were one of the only, if not only, Kid Suede models Alden makes. The rest is some other suede variety. No?

Last week was tan suede for casual Friday, today it's snuff:

Looking great. I wore the same today. And with the Nano spray from Leffot, I wasn't the least bit worried when the rain stared to come down today in Gotham city.

NRO shows a plaza-lasted loafer in addition to NST's. It's a dynamite leather; I'm hoping there's more.

it's a lottery whether you'll discover a stamping on the inside of a pair of shells. from my dozen or so pair, I think one pair of boots has a faint circular line on the tongue. I've yet to get the elusive full stamp somewhere (other than in an Ashland wallet)

imo, pay no mind to stampings. grab what you like when you find it in your size, as it may not come around for another year or two :rotflmao:

Excellent advice indeed. Much appreciated. Thanks.

First time posting in the wild shots, no idea if this works... Choco suede chukkas, braving the slight mist of NYC this evening. Cab shot

Wayne's World?

This is what I thought of at first too, but I knew it wasn't the right reference. Still hilarious:

"I don't own A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack."

Hm, you just made a sale. Looked at the Vimeo at Leffot and finally was convinced of a suitable protector.

Wore my color 8 Indys to lunch today:

Thoughts on the double cuff? These are new Flat Iron jeans and I can't decide if I should have them hemmed all the way or just shorted so that I could single cuff them instead of the double cuff as seen in the pic.

I have exactly this same boot that has exactly the same tongue shift in only one boot. I am looking forward to seeing any suggestions. I realized the problem when my leg was getting rubbed raw because of the tongue shift.

Grant last boots the flaw is how the tongue on one pair shifts from center while the other just always stays centered.

I tried different lacing, and they are well fitting. Would roughing up the inner side keep it from slipping?
