I do not believe Yenni has ever done a shoe in green calf before.

Here is an image from LS loafer on plaza from a few years ago.

Slightly off topic guys, but any suggestions on a good now-show sock? I recently bought these Calvin Klein no-show socks from Nordstrom...

http://m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/calvin-klein-no-show-socks-men/3371511?origin=category&BaseUrl=Underwear+%26+Socks

They suck! The fall of my heels like crazy. I am a size 9 and most of the now-show socks are one size fits all. The one size fits all deal is probably the main reason why they fall off my heels.

I've come to believe such a thing doesn't exist.

I use these and they work fairly well.  They have a silicone pad on the heel to keep them up and I order the women's instead of men's to get them as small as possible, which helps also.  Also, like that they're beige, so you can't really see them.  http://www.amazon.com/SHEEC-SoleHugger-ACTIVE-2-Pair-No-Show/dp/B009IS53M0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1430076905&sr=8-6&keywords=sheec

I completely agree that it's difficult to find well-fitting no-show's. For me, the JCrew ones have been passable. It seems it's a matter of technique and periodic securing of the socks. I try to make sure they are as properly positioned as possible and then try to carefully use a metal shoehorn to get my foot into the shoe. I try to start with the sock a bit higher than you would intuitively want it to rest, with the assumption that it will gradually slip. Still, there are several moments over the course of a day where I will end up reaching in to do a quick straightening. I find I tend to do better with a shoe that I can adjust the tightness of (e.g., a ptb or lwb as compared with an unlined suede loafer). This is the part where I think I'm supposed to say YMMV, etc.

Best of luck! Hoping that we get warmer weather here in the Northeast for my admittedly pasty ankles. :embar:

I've been on hunt for good no show socks as well, the best I've found are made by Pantherella. They are available from S to L, in variety of colors. Great for those of us with smaller feet. Nordstrom carries them (http://m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/pantherella-footlet-no-show-egyptian-cotton-blend-socks/3825939), and Alden DC have more sizes, including small.

These are worth a shot. The women's 8-11 may do the trick.

I agree on the technique thing, but the I was adjusting the Calvin's many times throughout the day. They are really thin and that could be the issue as well. A smaller, slightly thicker sock would be ideal.

Wow, these are expensive! Nordstrom only has one size. Hmmm...

The Ninja Sox seem decent and they offer different sizes.

Hey everybody, I just received a pair of snuff suedes and while one of the shoes is gorgeous, the other has a couple of issues. I wanted to get feedback from the forum to see if it's worth returning etc. or if I'm just being nitpicky. These are not factory seconds. I'll try to describe what the problem is for each pic:

On the front perfing of the shoe, the two center holes seem to be filled with dark dirt. The two light scrapes extending from the right center hole are actual scrapes.

Here's another angle on the dirt filled holes. Also, there is a similar dirt scrape emanating from lower perfing in this picture that crosses the intersecting perfing.

There are actual scrapes on the side of the shoe as well.

More vertical scrapes on back quarter and there are the remnants of thin plastic around the heel where it meets the rest of the shoe (not just the visible piece here - it didn't show up very well in the pic.

What are everyone's thoughts? The other shoe is beautiful but this one seems a bit messed up for a full-price, new shoe.

I get mine from Banana Republic and they've been great. No slippage at all, and pretty cheap if you get them at one of their many 40% sales.

Take a suede brush to them. It should even out the marks and take out whatever that dirt stuff might be. The plastic is from the lasting process. The uppers are wrapped in plastic to hold in moisture and protect it from marks such as that. Totally normal. Just give the brush a try and see what happens. It shouldn't affect your ability to return them but maybe someone else here knows better. Good luck!

Thanks - much appreciated! I love them in all other respects and they are insanely comfortable, so I'm hoping it's an easy fix.
