I didn't see your initial post... What did you say you thought it might be?

Update: I was able to locate another pair in the Kansas City store, so hopefully those will be alright. The right boot felt amazing. Hope I can find a pair like that!

Snuffy suede with whales to help avoid the bees.

Bonus pic of buckshot Cheaneys I just picked up.

@mdubs I really enjoyed reading the shoe care walk-through. I'll be trying this once I get my 4060 back from Alden some time next week. Any thoughts for caring for calf? Is Alden's boot cream in addition to leather defender enough?

Cool, thanks. If you find any typos or confusing points PM or E-mail me. I tried to write it well but was in a hurry as we have guests coming over tonight.

Great tutorial, I have some Marlow PTB on the way that have some heavy rolls. I will be trying this out to see how they turn out.

Did you just use water for the hydration step in the Dr Jones boot example?

I think step 6 is a big key, the pressure with the buffing probably helps the creases a lot:

Buff to a shine with a cotton cloth putting heavy pressure on shoe – 2 minutes from front, 1 minute for sides

I did try and take videos, but forgot to bring my Tripod and tried to use my iPhone. Holding a phone, boot, and brushing at the same time equates to a rather shakey video. As I don't want to make everyone nauseous, I decided to not post. However, I took pictures of every single step.

Enjoy!

THANK YOU MIKE and here's to one day a tripod'd video

Epaulet Ironside Indys doing some Friday night yardwork.

I'm never going to get my yard on @MrDV's level but a man's gotta have something to strive for in life...

Mike, great info. My Cigar PTB are have what I can imagine are permanent rolls. I'll see if I can make some headway with them.

Awesome info, @mdubs!

If you do end up producing a video, it'd be great if you would do it on a wingtip or longwing boot so I can see how you deerbone and brush across seams.
