Who makes cigar LWB now? Any on commando?

Thanks. I have no idea where these are from originally as they are the only preowned Alden I have which the origins are unkown. I would like to know where they originated from. I always just say Alden of Carmel but I'm just making that up smile.gif

The pants fyi Ben are cotton twill from a recent Epaulet 'ends for friends', super light weight and comfortable.

Thanks, they look great.

My Graintrippers are one of my most worn Aldens! Such a great boot! Did you use any treatments for the water? I wanted to do Leather Defender but was out of it and said f@*# it...

Hello

Need some advice

Here's a photo of my LHS 10D.

Notice the bulge at the inner foot under the big toe.

There is absolutely not discomfort. The rest of the shoe fits perfectly.

Should i buy my next LHS in 10E ? a wider shoe? Does anyone have this problem?

Great pictures above. I think I need some suede. Right now I have zero suede other than some Rancourt loafers I don't wear. Would the "King" suede makeup be the snuff LWB? Or is there another suede model that would be the most versatile, classic Alden makeup?

Snuff is certainly king of suede in my book.  My favorite is the LWB with double leather/water lock soles.  Unfortunately Alden is now making their suede LWBs with the single flex soles of which I'm not a big fan.

My order of preference for suede models in snuff...

LWB, wingtip boot, PTB, Tassels, LHS (last three are really interchangeable)

I think I agree with you about the wingtip boot being another great choice.

Why do you think Alden is making the suede LWB's with flex soles? If I go through Aldenshoe.com I see the 9794's with a double watercolor sole. Since it is shown online, I would imagine this shoe is readily available at the factory.
