I wonder what it could be because the J.Crew cadet package and whiskey LWB's from DC are both coming from UPS and haven't been delivered yet... At least she knows i'm selling a lot of stuff on ebay to recoup some of these expenses... lol

I had the same issues before, but having UPS/Fedex hold the packages at their depots fixed the problem. I learned from the best, @mdubs biggrin.gif.

It solves alot of problems. Especially when UPS comes by at 6:30pm. I usually come home first. But that late is pushing it.

Ha! That is one of my old tricks. I like it because it makes it less obvious when shoes come in, plus who wants a $700 item sitting at their front door... However, it is rather embarrassing constantly going to UPS.

Not as bad as their expression when you pay for insurance and they ask you to declare items and values and you say shoes and $750. Sadly, my local ups shop is immune to that now. They are surprised when I am not shipping or receiving shoes.

I did not get that email.........considering they "lost" my Whiskey lwb order a year ago, I'm a little concerned....surely they haven't done it twice.......especially when they were paid for about 8 months ago. Did anyone else not get an email about the ravello delay (that has an order in of course)?

Can you detail what cigar models are expected?

Not sure why Context switched to antique welt. I loved the black storm welt with that orange stitching. Pull tabs were a nice touch for a casual boot.

I don't know of anyone running this combo in any type of snuff. Looks like my options are

1. Brick+Mortar snuff WT boot on Commando (no brass)
2. Leffot cooney boot PCT with brass on double leather
3. Fransboone has a bunch of snuff boots with brass but nothing in my size..
Any other interesting options I'm neglecting?

I was looking for the exact same boot about 4 months ago, couldn't find it so I jumped on these! Not commando but these should be showing up soon....

AOM is currently offering a switch to 1 of 3 styles for the people that had a delayed Ravello order. I believe they will eventually be listed on the Spring Listing for Shell but do not believe they are available for public sale as of yet. I think the Ravello switch will get first priority but I could be wrong?

Cigar WT Boot on Commando

Cigar Barrie Captoe (no details)

Cigar Barrie PTB (no details) - Like the 990

I decided to switch to the Cigar WT boot, I really appreciate the 15% offer they gave for the inconvenience. Good luck to everyone that waits out the Ravello. Im sure it will be a beautiful boot.

I believe it's a shortwing blucher, not a wingtip boot. Should be same exact make up as the ravello SWB, except in cigar shell instead. I kept my order and updated the size.

Nope, specifically stated we can make your style in cigar instead of ravello. My style was a Ravello WT boot on Commando.
