Thank you sir
Awesome boots sazon. Where's the pull tab?
Thanks uncle
I was sweating their whiskey wallet for some time now, but I purchased the ruby shell "fat something" last night. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Does anyone know why the cool sf kids use "copped" for purchased? I tried looking it up in urban dictionary and google, they gave me a definition but not the origin.
I wouldn't call them cool

Quick question, I own a pair of the cap toe bal shell cordovans from TSM. The shoe uses the Hampton last which fits me like a glove, however, I noticed that the right shoe pinches my pinky toe and after prolonged wear my foot is killing me. Either my right foot is abnormally shaped compared to my left or the right shoe has a design flaw. I love these shoes but was curious if any of you have experienced similar discomfort with any of Alden's lasts?

I could only imagine that it would be a design issue if you felt the pain immediately upon inserting your foot in the shoe. Since the pain comes after prolonged wear, it is your foot swelling that is the cause of the pain.

Dont know the origin but it is actually a pretty old expression which I would bet goes back somehow to the very old term of cop for policeman . This comes from the fact that some police wore copper badges . To cop a plea is fairly old and so is the use in illicit drug buying such as " did you cop or did you score " Im pretty sure thats the direct precusor to the usage you refer to .I remember it used when I was a kid and Im real old .

The Fat Herbie is a beast. Just picked one up in the marbled black shell, which is outstanding. I'm not used to a wallet this big. Apparently meant to be carried in the back pocket of some very sturdy trousers. But I don't regret copping it (you see what I did there...:)). I think you'll love your ruby shell version. I took some photos but don't have them right at hand. Anyway there seems to be a shell cordovan wallet thread, so I suppose they go there. But maybe people here want to see an usual shell finish...

+1 shell cordovan and marcoliani are highly addictive, especially when used together.

Very nice Cigar Strait Tip Bluchers, Steve! (sorry for not quoting pics, on mobile Wifi hotspot)

When you mentioned them a few days ago I was expecting the Balmoral.

Wish they made a cordovan check book that holds two books of checks.

Anyone know if they would make something like that if I asked?

I suppose it would make a lot more sense to just ask them directly

See Ya,

Bought a pair of tremont lasted whisky short wing from Alden DC today. The color is gorgeous, but there is a dark spot on the right shoe... should I be bothered and return it?

Certainly that would be defect, however I would try to buff it out before I went to the trouble of sending it back to Allen Edmond.
