I was once a rare shell failure too.  But thanks to spending every waking moment on Styleforum and driving my friends and family away from me in the process, I am now a rare shell success story!  And you can be too!  Just order my new 47 step program available on Blueray and DVD…

Just ordered a 4060h irregular and have purchased a jcrew pct. is that redundant??

Also... Irregulars are irregular due to cosmetic reasons right and not stitching or other defects?

Should not be a structural defect. But I don't know for sure.

Oh. No such thing as redundancy on this forum!

Question: How do people who have owned them feel about the 29364F and/or other non-shell Alden PTBs? It seems like there are a LOT of them for sale on this site...

I ask because I scored irregulars this time (first TSM 2nds success story!) but am wondering if they were still available today for the same reason I frequently see them up for sale here... i.e., people don't like them as much as they thought they would.

Any insight? I was really gunning for some 975s and thought I'd landed a pair yesterday but they had apparently been sold already. Should I save my money and go with the LWBs?

I really like my CXL PTBs. I wear them a ton and they are super versatile. They are basically my sneakers.

If you're an 8D Barrie see below.....haha
