The point I was trying to make is that you got to be quick on the draw...

But, when you do get through and get that shoe that you know you should have never gotten for that price, it makes it all the better.  :nodding:

Been stuck on calls anyway.  Nice work.

One time I bought a #4 Hampton Last balmoral (Or at least it was labeled as such, turns out it was actually red cigar...)

Only to get an email later on that day stating that it was actually sold out before I bought it...

And, of all human beings in the world...@mdubs got them....:brick:

The Moral of the Story is that at least they went to a good home...:D

Did Alden discontinue the Jcrew PCT Jumper Natural CXL boots?

Trying to make up my mind about the "Indy" on Plaza. Yenni's version will have antique edge while FransBoone's are black (right?).

Leaning towards FransBoone, mainly since Plaza is pretty formal, so the darker edge would fit better, I assume?

I know it's all a matter of taste, but how would you gentlemen reason?

Came in to like 80 new posts, knew something was up haha. Congrats to those picking up seconds, sadly I don't even get the list most of the time. I got them a few times but that's it and now it seems all I get is random 10% off emails from TSM. Literally the last seconds list I got was in November.

Probably for the best since they don't ship to Canada and I doubt I would ever find a proxy in time to snag a pair of something unique.

Same with me. I've called and resubscribed a few times. No luck.

I think they both will look good. I have the Frans Boone version, but the antique edge is still quite dark. Also, you can always apply some black edge trim on there for a quick DIY fix. Also, highly recommend this boot. They're some of my favorites.

I used to be all about the antique edge but these days I prefer the black edge. I think it definitely adds a touch of formality which makes them a bit more versatile IMO. In the end, you cannot really go wrong either way though as the #8 looks pretty sharp on the antique edge too.

The ShoeMart gods were shining down today it seemed. Ed called me back finally after trying to get a hold of him for a week or so to update some CC info, and add to a list or two.

Then followed by the irregular list. No exotics, but managed to snag a 975! Was debating that or the Leffot version, either way pretty happy at $425. There was also a black shell Indy. Just not sure if I'm ready for black shell though. Good #8 options and the Epaulet Navy tanker boot. It said Barrie, but EP listed them as TB. Looked like TB though.

Was on hold for a bit which is always nerve wrenching. Part of the game though.

Ed replied to my email about getting on some lists at 4am this morning. Busy guy.

Also, that Navy epaulet Tanker (11.5)would be nice but have too much coming in.

Was able to get on with TSM finally (took about 10 redials to get on plus 15 minute wait time).

Snagged a classic 990 and a Natty CXL boot.

Always feel like you win the lottery when you get some seconds actually in stock.

I was just chatting it up with the nice lady on the phone and she said that 5 minutes after the seconds list went out someone called and ordered 18 pairs!! Must be a reseller. Hopefully he's not bilking people into thinking that they are firsts....
