Sadly the reverse is true of my left foot, which seemed to fit better in the 7.5D. Thus my thoughts on the 7.5E maybe being the best of both worlds so to speak. I just feel like I need to do my due diligence in finding the most ideal fit, the Leffot Tanker is a grail for me and hate the idea of not reaching for them enough due to an off fit.

Below is what the facings looked like on the 7.5D vs. 8D.

Might be some 8D Tankers going for sale if anyone is interested haha

Your 7.5 laces up like my 8D.

Brotha - after looking at those pics I am just gonna say I too am confused which is the better fit.  Since the leather is shell i doubt it would stretch much at all.  I imagine if you went to 7.5E the facings would be about as close as your 8D.  Which seems like it would work for you.  Sorry for not really helping at all, lol.  I guess it comes down to would the E width in 7.5 be more comfortable for you.  Not sure there is a wrong decision here.

Congrats to everyone who got in on the Ravello NST boot.  They are one hell of a boot!  More pics... I just want to see a maiden voyage already.

Congrats Russ!  Those look like an amazing shade of Ravello.  Ben and I have to see them in person at our next dinner!  Between these and your newest C&J boots, you're killing it!

I don't think the facings are too close on the 8D.  You should see how close they are on a couple of C&J boots I have.

Agreed. I think the 8D look fine as well.

Now, that said, I don't think I will last another week before wearing the new Aberdeen NSTs.

I hear you, my Lindricks basically touch haha. More so the length being off on the left foot in the 8D than the concern on the facings. Seems like all three sizes something may be off due to my inbetween brannock sizing.

8D - Left foot moving around too much length wise (tongue pad maybe, don't like resorting to that)

7.5D - right boot feels narrow on my foot

7.5E - ?? have not tried but worst case could be too wide on the left foot which might be the lesser of the three evils fit wise (easiest to fix with thicker socks, which is something I want to do with boots anyways)

In the end it is only footwear, I am still pretty new to this so it will take some trial and error to get things right. I think I will probably try and jump on a preorder for a 7.5E next time it rolls around. That actually could be happening in the next few months (based on last years timing) too which is a bright side at least. Could have them on foot before next winter. Can't say that about a lot of Alden make ups.

Edit: Root cause time haha, Right foot is about 8.25 and left is a hair over 8 I am pretty sure haha

Those are amazing!  Great boots.  Would love to add a set of these to the boot collection.  My Ravello version needs a Color 8 and Cigar pair next to them.  Trying to steal @BenLeaman's Hallecks next time he's out of town.
