Well they are on a truck and I'm having them held at the FedEx by me so I may actually get my mitts on them today. I'm hoping by lunch!

Lots of great pics lately guys! Congrats to those of you who scored some rare shell make ups. Snuff suede balmorals today from Ben Silver, Hampton last:

Does Alden make any brogue balmoral boots? I'm looking for a medallion toe dress boot that can be worn with suits.

I really like the

but was told that they weren't formal enough and limited me to the fall/winter months for some reason?

Nope, no Alden balmoral boots at all.

Quesiton for those active in the SF Marketplace forum: I have some shoes that I am selling to a fellow forum member. I'm in the states and he is in Australia. Any advice on how best to ship? Would like tracking and confirmation of delivery but also prefer to keep the costs reasonalbe. Any input? Would like to get these shipped out tomorrow. Thanks

I usually find USPS the most reasonable for international shipping. It's still not going to be cheap, though.

For example it just cost me $38 to ship to Canada last week. No insurance, either.

Agree with tifosi...USPS Priority International is usually the best. Hopefully they are covering or splitting the costs. Create a USPS account online and you'll get a slight fee discount. Instructions are pretty clear for filling out and printing forms. Additional insurance can be added at the post office if you need it, and they can do a final review of the forms. Good luck.

No USPS charges for boxes as well. I usually have a box laying around to ship in, though. If not, my work is full of them or I just grab one from my shipping dept.

Just saw something quite funny on the bay. Mis-paired BB tassels, one calf and one shell. I wonder if anyone is gonna buy it and wear them together....lol

Would have been better if they were also different sizes!
