Just dropped my macbookpro off at Apple for repairs due to spilled water. $1200 for a new logic board and other crap. Sucks that I'm probably gonna lose all of my data but sucks that I can't spend that money on Alden's!!!ahhhhhhh!!!

They look too narrow to be barrie and not round enough to be grant.  I think Leydon may be correct.  When you say they do not fit TTS, do you mean they feel larger, like you would need to size down a half size??

Yes, they feel large.  Agree that they don't seem like Barrie.  Alden chukkas are tricky for me.

Are you sure they're made by Alden?

Just got my jcrew Indys and the sole stitching isn't great. The toe area stitching is a bit thinner than I'd like. Would this be a problem in the future or should I just send them back and hope the next pair is better?

Sorry to hear that...

I equate a lot of expenses in life to how many shoes it equals

Only two eyelets fairly high on the shoe.  So they don't feel all that secure.  Definitely a classic look though!

Yep. Upcoming downpayment on home coming. Guess it's a good thing they don't do jumbo loans for footwear.
