I plan on getting something like these and a LWB for a bit dressier option to start out. Opinions?

Nice casual combo.

Picked these up from the most recent TSM seconds email. Should nicely traverse the Central PA rain/slush/ice combo that we're accustomed to.

Those are very nice.  The tan suede version is high on my want list.

See Ya,

I think I'll give them a shout this week and see if anything interests me.
Didn't even know there was a store in San Diego.

@Mdubs, now it looks like you have no choice but to officially open an affiliate!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

When I logged on and saw the thumbnails of these in the "Recent Images In This Thread", I seriously thought they were some crazy rare version of a Whiskey-ish/Ravello 6-eyelet chukka on commando with mocc hand stitching.

Nice tassels RTP. I finally broke down and got my first pair of tassels ever - went with C&J because they supposedly provide a narrower fit. And they do! All that's left to do now is actually wear them!

Appreciate the pics Mike.
Somebody mentioned yesterday that the Grant Boot looks like the Crockett & Jones for RL Gianni.
For shape/size comparison:
First pic is Gianni (325 last, 11D) v. Indy (Trubalance, 10.5D); Second pic is Gianni v. Grant Cap Toe (11D):

I was following this conversation about Alden of San Diego and wondering when someone was going to bite.  Priceless!

Imagine how tight the pants are of the guys whose pants look narrow in these types of photos!
