Had to wait a couple months for Alden SF to get these in my 10 c size. I was very happy to get a phone call from them over the weekend.

Haven't seen these mentioned in the thread yet. I am looking to start my Alden collection, and I wanted to start with a more rugged shoe that paired well with jeans/chinos. I would have probably gone with the Innsbruck but they are out of my size. These are an alpine grain on commando. I plan on getting something like these and a LWB for a bit dressier option to start out. Opinions?

I have a similar pair that is scotch grain on commando (no brass eyelets though), and I love them

Some great-looking pics recently.  I have been too busy at work to comment, but thought I would make a quick post of my tassels today...

Alden of San Diego? Cool.

They got any good lists or upcoming stuff?

Not sure what your size is but I'm returning a 9D Innsbruck LWB to EP...found in this makeup, the 8.5D was a better fit and have them on my feet right now. The Alt Wien in CXL looks pretty good also.

I like these a lot. I've had them in my cart a few times and then keep backing out since I really don't need them. I love everything about these: the NST, brass eyelets, commando sole, alpine grain... Perfect for casual wear in just about any season.

Fuck it. I'm buying 'em.

The lists can be pretty awesome.  However they never get much but size 10-10.5.  They do have good service I hear and... very knowledgable. They never ever get my size 13 in stock!

See Ya,

Steve
