Can anyone recommend a lightweight shoe tree good for travel? I'm flying overseas and want to bring a few pairs of Aldens with me. I've used socks and newspaper before ina pinch but was wondering if there is a better option.

I usually just bring one pair that will fit all shoes I'm bringing but I have a pair of these that are really really nice - still wood and super lightweight

They do fit a little big though and would work more for plaza / aberdeen shoes

Shoesnob has a plastic one:

Also at hanger project:

Who do I talk to about getting replacement laces? one of mine snapped on my shell captoe boots. I didn't see an email address on Alden's website. Thanks!

I'm going to give a call today or tomorrow so I'll try to remember as well.

Black AoDC Joseph Boot

Is that shell? (I always have a hard time telling the difference in pictures between new black shell and new black calf)

I've been looking for black shell boots and I really like the look of those on the Grant last. I may need to put a call into the store.

Purchased these slightly used....owner had put a toppy on them over the neocork which I was hesitant about but I figured they would tie me over until I could get a pair from leffot with the commando.

Have to say I am shockingly happy ...the toppy gives some great traction and looks seemless...these will be keepers. Hands down the tightest of the size 12 Alden boots I own...the calf is very nice. No boot socks with these.

I have worn these 2 or 3 more times than had they not had the toppy thanks to the grip.
