@mediahound   the commando is slick like Dainite right out of the box for sure...My cigar Indies commando I got used and they are a world more grippy than my newer commando's ...I find the same for dainite...once they get a ton of wear they get really good grip.

I have a sole similar to the Kudu Indies on some AE's and they go through snow, slush and ice great...really a must have sole on something boot wise.

Yep, I've said it before-the Kudu 404 Indy Boots are very under-rated. Excellent all purpose, all conditions boot that is easy to clean and always looks and performs consistenly well. I highly recommend them.

Very nice - good info on the soles - been thinking about a pair.

Thank you sir!

Also the CXL version gives and I can wear with medium weight socks that I can not do with suede or shell indy's.

The NEO cork sole is very comfortable so if enduring wintery weather is not an issue then it will be fine.
Thank you very much sir!

It probably comes down to which color you like better. The 403 (or JCrew Indys) are darker. [Not my pic]:

Thank you very much mediahound, love your videos.

The more and more I see this green suede the more I think I need some in my rotation. Unionmade's Dover and NST are calling my name.
