Fantastic. First one I think i've seen with some creasing on the cap. I'm sure mine will as well with the way my foot seems to flex. Hoping I can make this current run. Crossing fingers.

Thanks gents!  Yeah, there's no helping the cap creasing.  It doesn't happen on my barrie boots/shoes - only on grant lasted.

Vibram makes a very similar rubber lug sole which I am pretty sure B Nelson had access to. Go to the B Nelson website and look at the casual shoe repair page.

Love these! Add commando to those and they are a grail boot for me, the perfect winter boot in my eyes. Will be holding out in hopes a retailer will make it.

Didn't Unionmade do that? or was it not on Commando?

Nope mine are from Unionmade there on single oiled waterlock.

Yup, Unionmade about 2 years ago.

Threw this picture up on Instagram today. The Mccoppin boots from unionmade, while they might be better with commando there just as sick without it. Once you wear them a couple times the leather souls are like glue, I actually feel like I slip more with a commando.

My grails! Those are amazing. Not sure if I am high enough on the list for the early spring DC run or not, fingers crossed.

Thank you sir!  These are definitely my most comfortable boots I own.  It pains me to admit this, but I think the cigars have displaced my #8 Naval boots as my favorite.  I even considered buying a second pair so I could wear them more often...  It's a sickness, I know.
