Happily joining the Greenwich crew today with these reverse chamois that arrived from the market. A little preview into the future for the guys who just got new pairs. I brushed them up a bit and will clean up the edges with some AEdressing tonight, also maybe throw on some flat waxed laces.

I love these boots and have now crossed off 2 of my 2015 wants. The Leffot Dover preorder being the other so far.

Great pic's Burzan. I've worn mine for an hour or two just about every day since I got them. If they age as nicely as yours, I will be one happy camper.

I'm in the same boat on 2015. These and the Dover preorder should cover me as well.

Agreed.  I am almost tempted to try to buy a used pair of these rather than wait for new ones.  So cool looking!

In case anyone else was curious like I was, I emailed Horween to see about caring for reverse chamois and they emailed back saying to just brush it and apply neatsfoot oil sparingly.

Thanks for the info. Although I can't see needing oil for like 20 years on this new pair. haha

Yeah the new ones look heavily oiled, I like the look of mine so doubt I will be using any oil on it unless I notice any dryness.

From a purist POV, you are 100% correct!  And that's how I've approached all my boots and raw denim but I was feeling lazy, I guess.  :satisfied:

Hey guys, I got this pair of LWB last week. Fitting well except the instep is a little bit tight.

These are 7.5D.

Did I pick the wrong width? or half size smaller?

Kinda tough to say. I have a high instep, but not a wide forefoot so I wear a D width and that is about how my LWB lace. I usually have a fairly large gap between the eyelets.

Thank you gentlemen.
I love wearing them, even though no one irl understands how special they are to me.

So do I, a large gap between the eyelets. It also made me hard to tie shoelace.
