Absolutely stunning. The lack of any noticeable wear is amazing

Wore these out on date night with the wife last night. Thought I'd snap a pic before putting them away. CXL Tankers.

LoL Henry! I would love to attribute that to my biceps, but these were their maiden voyage. I just added the Black LHS to my fleet. As I am doing the Leisure Sunday campaign with a friend, I will now be wearing these once every 5 weekends. :-)

I wish they would bring these back!!

At the risk of threadjacking . . . if you don't want to wait years for these to (maybe) come back, Rancourt can make you a very similar pair in three weeks:

Mine have speed hooks but all-eyelets is standard.

Awesome photos everyone, you have beautiful shoes! My question:

Grant Last
Has there been or are there makes of the Color 8 cordovan cap-toe boot in the Grant last but with brogue patterning?
I really like the J Crew cap-toe cordovan boots, but I'd like them in a Grant last.

Sizing
Also, I'm a size 8 in Wolverine 1000 mile boot, should I size down for a Grant. Or does that only apply to the Barrie?

Thanks!

Hello. Looking for feedback for those who wear C width in Barrie last. I'm an 11D on the branock but almost a C width. Typically wear 11D. I purchased Alden LWB in shell size 10.5D. The length is spot on but feel a like I have to much volume. If I put on 2 pairs of dress socks or 1 pair of athletic tube socks the fit is perfect. My question is: what has your fit been in d width and compared to c width on the Barrie last. And am I describing enough excess volume to be able to size down a width to C. For what it's worth: 11D Aberdeen last, 10.5D witH RL marlow wing tips (but are much more snug). And I have a 10D Barrie lasted LWB in suede the length is short but width is snug but in a comfortable way. Is a 10D width equal to 10.5C width?

Prez's post with the chart probably already helped answering your question, just wanted to add a link to a website with the same chart also in millimeters, in case your in a country which uses the metric system.

The charts are at the bottom of the page.

Marcus, I wear a 10.5B on the Barrie Last. Based upon your situation, I would recommend trying out the 10.5C Barrie Last. It is available and underutilized. Most people here size down one on the Barrie Last, however I believe that is a mistake as the Barrie Last is known for having a generously wide toe box. The C is 3/16" narrower than the D width. Switching lengths usually results in roughly a 1/16" difference in width, but Prez's chart can be more specific. That said, it is much easier to buy a 10D than a 10.5C, but to me, if I am spending $650-$750 on shoes, I want them to fit like a dream.
