If Canada/T.O brethren knows local places even better.

thanks

I got mine in Hawaii. I do not know anyone who sells it locally. One option might be to order it with a pair of shoes from TSM, Leffot or one of the Alden shops. If you are desperate send me a pm and you can borrow mine.

Much thanks chipshot!  This is on the barrie last and there are several sizes in stock with Adam at Alden of Carmel.  Glad to help enable!  I love these, maybe more than my other barrie boots mainly because of the commando soles!

PSA: For you natural shell cordovan fans. Mitchell Leather just put up a batch of natural shell wallets. I have one in #8 and it's amazing.

I am going to take a little liberty here, see the last picture in the spoiler for an Alden comparison. There are not Alden's, but are Crockett and Jones made for Ralph Lauren in Brown Shell Cordovan (and lets face it, many of us here are Shell Cordovan lovers first). I bought three pairs of them during their recent sale ($470 instead of retail of $850), I have already returned the 10D and 10.5D, but still have the 9.5D. Unfortunately, 9.5D Tassels are too tight in the toe box and are thus unsuitable for me to keep. I plan to return them sometime next week to RL, unless if anyone wants a pair of these 9.5Ds and missed the sale, please send me a message in the next day or two and I will provide them to you at the cost in which I got them (around $470). Pictures of my exact model are below and they are an absolutely amazing color somewhere between Cigar and Ravello. I am not looking to make a profit on these and can easily return them to recover the money, but thought that I would try and pass this opportunity on to someone else who may be able to enjoy them.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

No kidding.. At this price.. No brainer .. I love it when a community member is willing to pass along a great Deal to the SF community. I do the same and hope others do as well. It's what it's all about.

hah! I guess I'd liken them more to automobiles - some think they're transportation and nothing more; others see them as status symbols and sport a high-end model (or models) without troubling themselves over "why" it's a great model; while others become obsessed with what's under the hood, how they're made and numerous small but "important" differences in models that make them unique and/or special.
