I own mostly cordovan and they make up my favs but my wife always tell me that these CXL PTB are the best looking pair I own. She loves the color of them and I do not disagree that natty CXL is spectacular. Can't wait for an NST boot in natty CXL to come back around, hopefully on commando.

These look great! I like them much more "in action" than in pics with just the boots.

Slightly off topic, but I love the jeans y'all are wearing. Would they happen to be selvedge denim? Can you give me a run down on what selvedge denim is all about?

Maiden voyage into a wet wintery day.  Sprayed with leather defender to protect against the dreaded water spots!  This straight tip boot is wonderful; very comfortable and versatile!  I can't believe I have deprived myself of great boots for all these years!!  Wife is a little worried that i have found my newest obsession. :embar:

Hah! Thanks Henry. I love a good LHS.

The denim is the RRL stiff. I had my seamstress custom taper them for me.

Ha! You read my mind.  I have been searching the interwebs all afternoon on this very topic.  http://scout.rawrdenim.com/ seems like an interesting site...

I relegate this to @RydenFan.

Just a quick PSA: not my thing, but some folks were clamoring for a black shelll boot with antique edgetrim. Leffot has a single pair left in 10D in a black shell plain toe boot with brass eyelets, antique trim and crepe sole. Get after it.
