Seconded re: their service.  I sometimes get email responses from Adele within 15 minutes.

Continuing boot week with these filthy Leffot Tankers.

Alden SF used to make (like up to a month ago) the Leisure Handsewn in all of the exotic colors, but they have decided to no longer do it. This does not mean that Alden corporate will no longer make LHSes for vendors in exotic colors. :-)

Interesting, feel really lucky then since it sounds like the Cigar I received last week and this Ravello is their final rare shell LHS run.

I'm on board for the Innsbruck -- the perfect makeup, IMO -- but I'm undecided if I should drop to C width.  If anyone here has thoughts I'd love to hear them.

In Carmina Forest/Oscar and AE 5, I am a perfect 11.5 D.  I tried the JCrew Indy, and I'm definitely an 11 there, but the heel was a little loose.  I'm wondering if going to 11 C in Innsbruck might solve the problem or create another one.

I have a suede  PTB on Leydon, 11.5 D, which fits well, but doesn't offer much in the way of comparison.  Any insights on this are much appreciated, as I don't want to blow it on my first Indy experience.  Thanks.

Initially, my 403s fit perfectly at 8.5D.  However, the chromexcel stretches considerably and almost exclusively widthwise.  Given the pattern of the boot itself, I think dropping a width can be safely done, especially if you're borderline.  It's really not that much narrower but you can lace them wider and they will stretch after wear. Given the choice again, I would have gotten my Indy boots in a C-width if they had been available. A chance to preorder in the right size is hard to pass up.

FWIW I'm a 9D Brannock, 8.5D Barrie.

Those are terrific, I just got a pair of these yesterday. I was inspired by DV's post last week and randomly did a google search on them to find a pair on the Marketplace for $275. It was meant to be!

Love the Alden Tassel, however, the Loden is outside my color palette, but I am glad to hear that you are excited about them! Enjoy them in the best of health my friend!

Gnatty, how many honey-do's did you have to do to get her to take a pic with you? Nice Indy's.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Both of those look terrific. Would you know if those natty CXL are the old ones made on the Leydon Last? I love that particular model...

Looking great in your Brass my friend! Enjoy them today!

Terrific looking LWB. The calf models are very under utilized here.

Ben, nice try on the Whiskey Thursday... ;-) But those are terrific looking LWBs. I hope that you get many years of great use out of them! Enjoy DC (apparently), if you can sneak by, tell Kathy hi for me!

Cool >>---|>, looking great in your Cigar Boots. I am very excited to be getting a pair sooner or later. Wear them in good health my friend.

Steel, enjoy your banana PT Boots in the best of health my friend. I hope that they took good care of you today! :-)

I did not know it before this run, but the Tanker design was made for Choco Suede! Great job, wear in warmth my friend.

Chris, you should take the Ravello Boots my friend. However, if you are going to pass on them, these are a great alternative. Hope that the Trubalance Last is working superbly for you!

Henry, way to keep the momentum going forward! Enjoy your #8 WT Boots!

Tifosi, looking great in the classic 4060! Enjoy them in the best of health today. You should post a summary pic at the end (it is okay to post EG's this time). :-)

Shoetree, that shouldn't be much of an issue. I have a pair or two in which they got "aggressive" with the welt stitch and not had a problem. Enjoy them (whatever they are!) in the best of health.

Overall, killer showing today gents!!!

-Mike

Great post Mike (@MDubs)! That may be both the longest but most concise post that I have seen yet. Great job with summarizing so many posts while keeping the spoilers.

These are fantastic. You are going to have a great time breaking these in. I am a recent convert to the PTB, but now I cannot get enough of it.

Incidentally, I have these same models just with the shades of shell reversed nod[1].gif
