Some proper images of the cigar PTB. The sun seems to shine a bit brighter when I get new shell shoes. I have color 8 shell (PCT boots) and AE burgundy shell (Leeds/PTB and Macneil/LWB) but for me they all pale in comparison to cigar.
Wow, just wow.

Anyone have a good rec. for getting a couple pairs of Aldens topy'd around wall st? Not really an alden specific question but I figure y'all are pretty careful about who you let handle them...

Opinions are like a**holes, but I'm gonna ask anyway; whatchall think is a better boot build?

1) Modified lasted plain toes w/ single waterlock soles
2) Modified lasted plain toes w/ Neocork soles
3) Barrie lasted plain toes w/ double waterlock soles
4) Barrie lasted cap toes w/ double waterlock soles

3 (but go Plaza if possible :D)

Very nice!
I have these in Brown CXL from LS, and love them, yours are beauts.
Uncle, despite not being Aldens, very very nice.

I might need your advice on socks, all of my argyles are mid calf, and end up crunched up around my ankles before lunch...I have been converted to OTC, but need to find good Argyles that are also OTC.
Great score! I am on the lookout for Cigar PTB, so I'm a little jealous.

Finally a break in the rain, so snuff suede today:

I'm really interested in the RL Marlow wingtip or the Alden wingtip #8 (tremont last). Does anyone have a side by side shot? Thanks

Both models are very nice (I own both), but I see them as completely different in that one is brown, one is burgundy, one is a blucher and one is a balmoral. As between the two, the marlow is more versatile, IMO.
